  • Sasch Mayer: If you're still assessing the value of a link based solely on SEO, you're doing it wrong...
  • Manisha Thakur: How is it beneficial then?? If at all it is??
  • Simon Fryer: +albert mora ;We know it doesn't pass 'PageRank', but links still indicate other things (such as trust). I have no empirical evidence, but I'd say that getting nofollow links from the top 10 academic institutions in the world would do something very tasty to your SEO.

    +Sasch Mayer ;is right though. If you're building a nofollow link, it had better be for clicks or exposure, or you're probably wasting your time. ;
