Did some of you use the Disavow links tool from Google?
And if you did, how long did it take for your demand to be looked at?
Art Petrosyan: There is no time frame, google has to crawl all those pages in the disavow file and reprocess ; Here is the post from google ;https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
Guillaume Boucher Bélanger: Thanks +Art Petrosyan ; but I think you misread the post.... Did you actually use this tool and did you notice the time that it took for Google to erase those badlinks?
Art Petrosyan: Yes, I did used the tool. I'm not sure what you mean by "erase those badlinks". Do you mean remove them from gwt or not count them? If you mean the links to disappear from GWT, then it's not going to happen(based on what they said). Those links are still going to be in your gwt ;as well as the nofollow links. Did I answer your question?
Guillaume Boucher Bélanger: It's more like the answer I was looking for. And did you note a time frame for the disavow tool to work or you didn't notice at all?
Art Petrosyan: Didn't notice anything yet. It depends on how many pages you've submitted and how soon those pages will be crawled.
Tony McCreath: It is very hard to know when a link is officially disavowed as there is no tool reporting that data.
If you see a ranking recovery, especially after a penguin update, it may indicate a good portion of your disavows have gone active.
