Does anyone know if we can use our keywords as our full name for Google+?

Tim Capper: No, that box on the right hand side will appear for your branded name if you have Google+ local page. Once you have created your Google+ business page you can also go an claim your google place page and connect to your Google+ business page. Tony McCreath: Google+ pages can be a business so there it is allowed. But a Google+ profile must be a person with a name. <br /><br />So check if it is a page or a profile. 

Vic Singh: It&#39;s a Google+ profile only.

Justin Y: If its a profile it&#39;s against Googles policy. You&#39;re safer to use a business page than a profile if you want to use keywords. I&#39;m sure once Google catches on, they will no longer be on top.

David Harry: Yea, it leads to this Google Local listing; ;<br /><br />But, the the result, actually has the website etc as well. Here;<br /><br /><br /><br />Interestingly, it has the &quot;Are you the business owner&quot;&quot; on it, like the person hadn&#39;t claimed the page, which they obviously have. And of course the listing leads to Castlemore Real Estate; ;<br /><br />As for their Google local listing, I am pretty sure that one is against the TOS. You are supposed to use the business name, not keywords. ;<br /><br />As for the site, it&#39;s bloody god awful. Has NO backlinks... weeeeeee.... I assume U don&#39;t mind if I pass this one along to someone in Search Quality? ;

Vic Singh: Yes I don&#39;t mind if you pass it along. I figure there&#39;s something fishy. It&#39;s a super competitive keyword in my area and I&#39;ve been trying with dear life for the past 7 years to just stay on the 1st page. ; Thanks.

John Britsios: Google Plus Best Practices:<br />a. For your personal profile use your real name.<br />b. For your business page use your business name.<br /><br />You still can optimize your personal profile and business pages in the content area.<br /><br />All that said, I would be very careful.

David Harry:  ;- yea that&#39;s one helluva a shit result indeed. I sent it over to a contact in the SQ team at Google. Google ain&#39;t perfect and even the SQ likes to know about situations where things have gone awry. Let&#39;s keep an eye on it and I&#39;ll let you know if I hear back today.
