Should I use DomainsByProxy to register a domain name?

Should I use DomainsByProxy to register a domain name?
I picked the name as an example because I happened to look a domain up that was registered using the hiding service provided by GoDaddy. All the big domain registrars offer something similar.
Now, all of the sites operated by both myself and my business partner are clearly marked with a real address. Said address is where each of us does business from and a place where we can be contacted at. Important point in legal terms because a business must have a location where legal papers can be delivered.
I`m not a legal expert but my view is that any business site (you put adsense on there and it becomes a business site) should openly declare their place of business. Using the domain cloaking that is so frequently offered means that businesses are simply failing to do that

  • W.E. Jonk: Think we discussed that a couple of weeks ago during the HOA or maybe it was in the after-party... :D Going to try to find it. But the consensus was that it doesn't really matter for SEO because search engines aren't really using it. ;
