Why is it telling me that no sitemap can be found for my site?

In webmaster tools why is it telling me that no sitemap can be found for my site and that Ive never submitted one yet when I go to Mysite.com/sitemap.xml I can see it just fine and when I test the sitemap there in webmaster tools it finds it just fine? Im using Google Sitemap Generator Plugin for this btw (just recently added) ?

Archie Watt: Did you actually click the "Submit sitemap" button in WMT? ;Testing it doesn't submit it...
Federico Sasso: GWT doesn't know were your sitemap files are located if you don't tell it (there can be more than one sitemap, located also in subdirectories, and named with any valid name - /sitemap.xml is just a common convention).
