What should I do to make a calendar Googlebot friendly?

If a site uses a calendar that creates an infinite number of date pages, with a dynamic url, even if there is no event on that date, what should I do to make it Googlebot freindly??

  • Dave Elliott: what do the urls tend to look like? Are they fairly consistent?(eg calender.html?date=daymonthyear or something) If so  ;you should block it through robots.txt or google webmaster tools. Either by block the style of parameters or by blocking the entire of calender.html ;
  • Hashim Warren: yes, it's fairly consistent. I'll use robots.txt
