Dumb SEO Questions

Should I redirect broken links?

Back in 2009 I was developing dozens of Blackberry themes and have hundreds of links coming from Crackberry.com. Back then I wasn`t heavy into SEO and never created the proper 301`s, now every link leads to a page that no longer exists or redirects to my index page.

I`ve been migrating my old domain to my new one using 301 redirects etc, but what would you suggest doing in regards to the existing broken links that are coming in from Crackberry?

Should redirect them via .htaccess and land them on a page that`s relevant or just say screw it and try to get rid them?

Thanks!

  • Andrei Gherghel: The best is to redirect them to related pages or related category. If this is not possible redirect them to the homepage.
