Is this going to cause issues with Google?

  hey all, another question. I'm using a lightbox to display an email sign up form. The plugin gives a template code that styles the content as "display:hidden." ;

  Is this going to cause issues with Google? I don't want to get penalized for hiding content, even though this is not an attempt to fool search engines by any means.

  Frank Ludriks: If its just a newsletter sign up, no, you won't get into trouble with Google. Users on the other hand hate pop ups, so why spoil the user experience?

  Scott Cohen: It's not a pop-up (I HATE those too!) It's a lightbox that is triggered when a user hits the "sign up" button. I wanted to allow users to input their email without navigating away from the page they were on and the site design didn't look right with a sidebar sign up form.

  The cuetimes listed on this page are functional while the live broadcast continues and also once Youtube has finished processing the public broadcast. Processing time varies between 6-24 hours. During this period the clip is viewable in full but the cuetimes cannot be relied on.
