My website used to be on the first page but now it has gone on 3rd or 4th page for same keywords. What could be reason?

  Heena Shah: Had my website on 1st page for some keywords before 1 week. now it has gone on 3rd or 4th page for same keywords. What could be reason?. Do i need to change my title,meta name, meta descriptions regularly? or is it like only blog posting don't help in getting u on 1st page of result.

  Kapil Bhardwaj: If you not working SEO on your website in 1 week, so its normal thing you loss your ranking... No need to change you meta regularly :)

  Kapil Bhardwaj: Social Sites is not good for site ranking, its only help to grow your site visiting.....not help to boosting your keyword on Google :)

  Ryan Cramer: +Kapil Bhardwaj ;I don't know that I would say that Social sites is not good for ranking. I've seen too many indicators that point to Social Engagement effecting the SERPs. (Besides what good is #1 position without visitors?)
  
  Anyhow, +Heena Shah ;I recommend you check to make sure that you have good unique content and not doing anything that will penalize you.  ;Often, a new site can get high ranking based off of initial indexing of the site, however, after a couple weeks, a second bot reassesses your site. If you have shallow content and stuffing keywords, it is normal to drop quickly.

  Heena Shah: +Ryan Cramer ;i was being told earlier in this community only that getting your blog or link posted in social site would not make google penalize you.
  
  How can i check if there's any action by google happening for my website.Webmaster don't show me any warning.
