My thoughts on YT moving over to Google+ comments platform: in the end, it is all about ad serving. Though don`t take it too seriously, as I am probably barking up the wrong tree.
I think there will be more and deeper integration of Google products and services with Google+, as I have speculated quite a long time ago at http://en.wasaweb.net/articles/internet-Google-goes-social-2.html.
