This isn`t exactly a SEO questions, but is related, so hopefully someone can help.  Is there a way to find out how many people are following me via my RSS feed?  I`m currently using word press.  Thanks!

  • Rand Wilson: IIRC, there is no tracking on the default RSS feed, but you can using a free service like FeedBurner, which does track it.. the only downside is that you have to convince all of your current subscribers to switch to your new FeedBurner feed URL.. the old one still works, but just isnt tracked.

  • Dave Elliott: wouldn't be hard to track clicks to the stories/whatever linked on there by adding some campaign tracking parameters to the links and then looking in Google analytics.

    Unless your rss provider tracks the subscribes(like feedburner as mentioned above) then i don't believe their is an accurate way of getting this information.
  • Reginald Chan: +Daily Successful Living ;Personally, I am not sure if you can track with WP stock feed but if you integrated with Feedburner (as the above said), you can have a rough estimation on followers and even some detailed reports there.
