Why do the links in BWT differ from GWT?

This sounds like something I should know. But why do the links which I download in Bing Webmaster tools not include the same ones found in Google Webmaster tools? There are links missing from Bing which are found in Google. The ranking of my sites is low in Bing but not in Google. What`s happening? Thanks

  • Dave Elliott: bings index is not as big as googles, (about a third of the size, it seems!) they also use a different algorithm.
