What do you folks use to record ranking data?

What do you folks use to record ranking data along with notes regarding attempts to improve it? I`m currently using excell but I have to put the notes below the last keyword on the page or it gets too wide to handle/read. Any ideas??

Jeremy Estes: I personally use serps.com. their rank tracking is impeccable and they have annotation capabilities to let you track effects of changes.
