What are your thoughts about the new design of google SERP?

Google is experimenting with a new layout to display SERPs. The new listings are without underlines and the font size is bigger too. This means less characters displayed for each listing. I expect that this change will require SEOs to change title and meta description strategy. What are your thoughts?

Wakefly, Inc.: Interesting, that sounds like more organic listings will get pushed below the fold ;
bharat thakare: A lot of SEOs stuff keywords in the title and meta description hoping to rank high for the targeted terms. (Meta description even though not a ranking factor, does help in CTR). I think they are trying to discourage SEOs from abusing the title tags and meta description thus making life easy for everyone. I also believe that they want to focus much more on "quality content" and "value to the end customer" than links and on page. Value could probably be judged best by reviews, ORM, brand citations etc... Don't know what's next from Google.
