Is there any point in updating all my other GA accounts to universal?

i have had to install Universal analytics onto a site(basically cause my tag manager instructions were written for UGA) I have had a quick look round it and have a question.

Is there any point in updating all my other GA accounts to universal? I see so few differences in the interface or data collected, I just don`t see the point. Enlighten me people!?

Shawn Cohen: I think the demographics info is really helpful or will be when they build it out more.
