  If you have GWT then you will be able to see in there if you have suffered a penalty from Google, but if nothing has been said to you by Google that could still mean your site has suffered a Penguin slap. ;
  Try to find out the Bad links targeting your site or your site contains any bad or unnatural links then you have to remove all those links.
