  Marcus Wong: Question: A few days ago, my site recently topped at around 20 for it's homepage targeted keyword.Just yesterday the site fell off the top 200 of Google.com.sg SERP. Today, it suddenly appeared back around 20 again. Does this happen because of a Google mistake? Has this happened to anyone else?
  
  Background: This site is a new blog, less than 2 months old, and slowly adding content. Haven't done any major link building to it yet, so it has less than 5 links (they are not spammy links). The home page originally topped at around 20 for a certain keyword phrase, but yesterday, it seemed to drop off the SERP for that keyword. Other related keyword phrases seemed fine. ;

  Marcin Wójcik: Take it easy, it is normal. Take care of writing good content on the blog and leave the analysis for later, let's say half a year

  Nagesh shukla: There are fluctuations in Google rankings and that's normal...make sure that your content is good.

  Krish Purnawarman: I hope its normal, what does GWT say for those dropped keywords, with the change tab information turned on? Love to see what it says, (green or red?) I doubt if it was 200 yesterday and today 20...

  Azedine Djedid: +Marcus Wong you shouldn't be worried at all, its just Google dance and l think you are lucky that your website is ranking because with the new update new websites stay in the sandbox;-) Is your domain brand new?

  Marcus Wong: i see! i normally don't check rankings this early and this frequently, so I got a shock that this happened. Yup it's a brand new domain. The niche isn't a super competitive, and at the moment, a number of the page 1-2 sites aren't well SEO-ed... so I'm optimistic about my chances. ;
