I`ve read that Facebook are trying to ban click baity articles(kinda) http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/facebook-hates-clickbait-and-is-changing-its-newsfeed-so-that-you-read-less-of-it-9690838.html article is saying they will do this by measuring how long it is between users clicking on the link and their return to Facebook.

Are they going to need something clever to track this? And if so what? Or is ga able to do it? The outbound link is easy enough with tag manager, but how do you think they will measure that a user has returned?

Trying to work it all out but am not quite there! ?

  • Dan Vuksanovich: They're going to need their own Matt Cutts for this.
  • Dave Elliott: Or possibly someone who knows what they are talking about. :D
