How i can get again 1st place on Google?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me the reason why my website is not showing 1st page position for my brand name "generalsoftwares" or general softwares on Google.co.uk. presently my website comes up on 5th page.My website :- www (dot) generalsoftwares (dot) co (dot) uk. if i search "general softwares" on google.co.uk, it shows generalsoftwares (dot) com site at 1st position instead of my website. How i can get again 1st place on Google.

Rohan Ayyar: Probably because the Googles are into general "softwares" themselves and they're scared of serious competition.

Esferasoft Solutions Pvt Ltd.: One really important thing that no one has mentioned yet is the AGE of your domain. if you 'start with a new site that has never been indexed' you may be making things more difficult due to the domain's age.

Where possible, try to use a domain that has been around for some time, just check to see what type of inbound links you have already.
