Dumb SEO Questions

(Entry was posted by John Colema on this post in the Dumb SEO Questions community on Facebook, 12/12/2013).

The business has a number of different offices (25+).

I want to set up a G+ account for a business. The business has a number of different offices (25+). How would be the best method to go about this. Setting up one for each seems excessive and spammy while only being able to do it for the company HQ seems like a missed opportunity. Ideally I would like the account to be associated with all the local offices. ?

  • Dave Elliott: Set up one account for all offices. Then use location based circles to make sure you are only pushing updates to relevant people.

    Use Google places for business  ;to give local info/reviews etc for local offices. ;

    That is how I would want it to work anyway, not sure if Google agree or not.
  • CIPHR: Agree with +Dave Elliott ; ..... You could also assign an admin from each location to update the account with their offices relevant updates...
  • Emmanuel Flossie: Nice reply +Dave Elliott
  • John Coleman: From a local SEO pov how can this help to list each location so that the potential for each local clinic to appear in local queries increases? So I register the main company HQ but how do I register the individual local offices addresses? ;
  • Dave Elliott: This is what google places is used for. ;https://support.google.com/places/answer/178024?hl=en ;
  • John Coleman: thanks dave i'll take a deeper look at that. looks like what I'm looking for
