  • Bhupendra Rathore: Hay Experts, Is there anybody know how i Share ; my 1 article on my multiple sites and Google doesn't consider it as duplicate content.
I wanted to share the same article to all the sites. ; I don't care if they are not on page 1 of Google however, I don't want them to be penalized and not show up the search engines at all.
  • Dave Elliott: There are some fairly naughty black hate article spinning programmes knocking about. I refuse to recommend a programme or this practice though. Black hat world is the best known site for this kind of stuff.

    Don't though.
  • Bhupendra Rathore: Hi +Dave Elliott ; I don't wana do any black hat just share my informative article at my multiple sites..Would it be considered duplicate content by Google...if we share some of the same articles? ; ;Seeing that these are local community sites I don't care if they are not on page 1 of Google however, I don't want them to be penalized and not show up the search engines at all.
  • Aamir Siddiqui: article spinning is prohibited by Google. You can make unique titles for all articles and change internal links also.
  • Dave Elliott: yes, it would be considered duplicate content. On account of the content being exactly the same on 5 different sites.

    Weather Google will penalise the entire site is open to debate(especially if it is small sites, rather than massive article sites) but it may. ;

A way to avoid your site being penalised is to add a no index no follow tag to YOUR page on YOUR site  ;and removing it via webmaster tools/robots.txt. This will, however, mean the page will never show up in a search engine.

The other thing you could do, is rather than put the entire article up on these local community sites simply write an introductory paragraph for your article  ;and then invite people to read the full article on the original site.

If you are concerned about the intro para being duplicate content then 'copyscape' or 'Plagium' are your friends.
  • Bhupendra Rathore: +Dave Elliott Thank you for your strategy to solve this problem. I appreciate it !! ; I also looking if possible to add any plugins or code with that Google understand that all are mine sites and i don't need to deindex it from search engine.
  • Greg Bellan: Add a canonical tag. Determine which site you want to be the "source of truth" and then add the canonical on all subsequent versions of that page that point back to the "original". All the other sites will not get "credit" in Google's eyes for the content, but they won't get penalized either.
  • Bhupendra Rathore: Hi +Greg Bellan is it possible to add canonical tag between two sites...I just know that its working between two pages of the same website ?
  • Greg Bellan: +Bhupendra Rathore as far as I can recall, canonical tags WILL work across domains. On my phone now - will do some research and post a link when I get to my computer.
  • Greg Bellan: +Bhupendra Rathore found it (while walking my dog ;) )

  • Bhupendra Rathore: +Greg Bellan ; Great ! This is what i am looking for...Thank alot for your great help.
  • Dave Elliott: This will only work if you are very friendly with the site owners though, as it needs to be in the document head.
  • Greg Bellan: +Dave Elliott ;is right.  ;The canonical tag needs to be in the head of the page/post in question.  ;That said, the way I read the question, +Bhupendra Rathore ;owns / controls all the sites in question.
  • Bhupendra Rathore: yes all the sites are mine(I am Owner) and i just want to post same content on all and don't want to panalyze !!
  • Dave Elliott: Oh, right. Yeah if all the same owener then canonical is the easiest way.
