What is the correct strategy to position news in Google News?

Hello buddies! I wanted to ask you about the correct strategy to position news in Google News on a specific day, for example the day of results of a lottery. It is better to make the news in the day before and go about updating it or make the news in the same day at the early morning? Thanks and sorry for my English ;)?
