Not to mention, every now and then i would accept payment offered to post on the site, that also bit me in the but. I lost my adsence account behind the entire thing, and i never really understood what was going on! Then a few weeks ago, we got hit with a spam attack, so i spent a good deal of time cleaning that up and locking down some stuff. Its just a mess. I am utterly frustrated because we crank out some good content, and work really hard at doing it, and we're just getting ignored and punished. ;

  A fair bit of cleaning up is needed, but i see you have already started removing links to your site at quite a rapid pace.
