  • CeS Inspections LLC: Let me know how that works out. I asked a similar question a few weeks back. I know this. Track down all citations and get them to reflect the new address. Time is a factor too...
I'm no SEO guru, just trying to contribute where I can.
  • Sean McGuire: Hi +Marney Jarantilla.

+CeS Inspections LLC ;is correct. You want to make sure that your business Name, Address and Phone information is the same (consistent) for all citations.

Otherwise Google starts to show duplicates and duplicates cause problems.

But another thing that I just realised. If you are talking about Maps listings you need to have a brick and mortar location, as Maps is for local businesses that aren't only online businesses.

Also, if your business/office is a residential address you must set the selection in Google Local to hide your address.

You may also need to verify your new address either by post (with a post card PIN) or phone (Google calls your business).

    I hope this helps.
  • Joe Rega: Submit a change of address with Google to notify them that you're moving/have moved.
  • Jon Muranko: All of the above is correct and you can now call in and get live help from Google. This is the best option because you can talk to live person.
