(Entry was posted by Steven Ciccantelli on this post in the Dumb SEO Questions community on Facebook, 01/21/2014).

Is there a way to update brand and company details across multiple sites?

Does any software exist that can your brand/business and help you correct Name, address and phone number.
Before I came to G+ I would spend hours opening new directories thinking it would help my website ranking.I also might be changing my web address and just hoping someone here has created some sort of program I could purchase.?

  • Alistair Lattimore: One fantastic tool that I can think of is sweetiQ, which is a local business marketing tool. Essentially you add your business information to it and key terms you want to rank for in what geographic area and it scans the internet looking for inconsistencies with your NAP information and does competitive research about where your competitors are getting citations, so you can try and get the same citations.

  • Steven Ciccantelli: Not quite what I was looking for.I opened a ton of directories was hoping for a program that automatically makes sure my info is the same.
  • Dave Elliott: ahh, download the csv whitespark gives you and you should be able to run some excel cleverness to recognise the strings to search for errors/discrepancies etc. ;

    i don't think i have any thing saved at the moment but i think there was an excel for seos tool kit from distilled(possibly) that should have some stuff that is almost there.

    There is certainly some stuff that compares urls in there and checks anchor text.
