Federico Sasso: You might find many good reasons to change meta-descriptions over time, but if it's keyword matching that you bother about... well at least Google doesn't use meta-descriptions for keyword ranking.
Dave Elliott: i'd only change meta-descriptions (presuming you have formed them well already!) if the content on the page itself changes.
