Kia Kamgar: 2 weeks? that's way too long, I think you could find a few companies that could do this within 2-3 days, just do a Google search for SEO experts and you'll find quite a few.

Graywolf Prepper: Especially after the hummingbird update, try to find as many phrases related to topics surrounding your phrase and pepper them throughout your article. Then find phrases that relate to those and do the same thing. Just make sure that it reads correctly. You might need to lengthen your article to make it work right.

I've been slowly going through all my old posts and polishing them up like this and have seen some steady growth.

Keep hitting the higher authority pages to get backlinks to your site but make sure you keep it natural.

It is quite difficult to predict the exact time to rank for any keyword. It depends on the competitiveness of the keyword. ;

If your website has a blog, would recommend to write a post that related to your keyword. ;Also, try to have a dedicated page for that keyword. Link that page from the homepage.
