Same here, I could only reproduce it when I was searching incognito.

I think that it would be logical that the click rate would drop and yes that would not be good for anyone +Masatake Wasa . I have been seeing 3 or 4 different ways that Google is displaying the ad section in the search results. Perhaps this is just one version of a larger experiment.

I have not noticed any drop in the CTR on any of the campaigns that I have been running however, it would be impossible to tell the format the ad was being displayed on   Masatake Wasa originally shared:   I suppose Google is experimenting with how to present the search results. No differentiation in the background colour, but clearer indication that something is an ad. It may not be that clear on the side bar?
