  • Nishant Desai: Yes it is effective if they have high PR. ;
  • Ranu Jain: Hi Kenneth,

    Yes, directories do work but its all about quality and relevance. ;There are still good directories that count and produce trust in the eyes of Google.

    Try to do manual directory submission to quality directories rather than using the automated software.
  • SKI USA INC: Yeah I do agree with +Ranu Jain ;but check those directories sites are indexed in Google or being penalised by Google. Even most of high PR rank sites are penalised due to the bad back links they have earned.
  • Kenneth Villegas: Yes, I am actually considering directories that are on top 10-20 on Google ;
  • Jake St. Peter: Dmoz.com
  • Kenneth Villegas: +Jake St. Peter ;it's hard to get listed there.. I tried it before..
  • Matthew Marley: Only if it's a niche directory or a local directory. Anything else I would stay well clear.
  • Jake St. Peter: Dmoz takes a about 6 months for inclusion.
