  • Benhardt Construction and Remodeling: What is your opinion of the Moz products?  ;Moz Pro and Moz Local?

Pretty substantial stuff or a waste of time and more importantly - Money?

    Thanks
  • Dave Elliott: I worship in the temple of moz. On the cheaper side of things I think it is the best overall all encompassing product. Love the moz bar. Love moz pro. Love open site explorer. Hell I even love white spark. If I had a bigger budget then there is certainly better stuff around but for the price I think it gives you more useful features than anything else out there. Not used moz local though, isn't available for the UK at the moment.
  • Benhardt Construction and Remodeling: Thanks for your valuable insight +Dave Elliott!

It appears to me that it's a pretty powerful suite of tools along with a 30 day trail

The local looks to be pretty good stuff also.

    Thanks for your input!!
  • Greg Baka: I'm an occasional MOZ member. When I need it to do an SEO tune-up on one of my sites, I resubscribe for a month or two to use the tools.
I used to stay subscribed for longer periods just to participate in the Q&A Forum. But now I find better answers and SEO discussion here on G+
It's worth trying for a few months to get used to the tools and see if they suit your needs.
  • Benhardt Construction and Remodeling: +Greg Baka I appreciate your insight. I did sign up for Moz Pro and Mozlocal today.

    Already I see the benefits.

As a remodeling contractor in the St. Louis area it gives me the insight of what to do and where to go.

I do not have the pipe dream of doing this all myself over the long haul.

I am attempting to gain enough traction in the market so I can turn the keys over to an SEO/Website contractor.

Every day I learn more and more and part of that is a result of feedback from people like you.

    Thank You.
  • Greg Baka: To +Benhardt Construction and Remodeling ; - Hi Neighbor! I'm in Columbia MO. Running a couple of ecommerce stores for about 7 years now. SEO has changed a lot in just those few years. It's a wild ride, but worth it...
  • Benhardt Construction and Remodeling: +Greg Baka that is awesome, we have a lot in common!

I have always felt and known that the web is where it is at.
  • Greg Baka: +Benhardt Construction and Remodeling ; Do be sure to make use of the Moz Q&A forum. Grab a cuppa coffee and sit and look through a few weeks of questions to see what gets answered and what doesn't. Post questions midweek for best response (weekend posts don't get much action).

I found that general questions get decent responses. For your site that would be something like "Why doesn't my site rank well for searches like St Louis bathroom remodeling? (Be sure to also tell your URL in the post)

You should get some good advice. I saw a few things after taking a quick look at your site.
