Obviously it really works for visual image led sites. What i have done is to Create my main board then created niche boards within that.
The images are uploaded from the actual url, not from image, that way my images if shared is attributed to the site.
If you correctly applied alt img text in the first instance, this is carried across to the image, but what i have found is that an image with a better description tends to be shared more.

Ryan Cramer: Make sure you use keywords and hashtags. ;Geo code (add location) to your pins and make sure you connect the pinterest account to your website and other social sites.
