  • Vikrant Singh: I had a small query. We as an online marketplace are planning to conduct a pay per lead campaign. What do you suggest would be the best possible channel to conduct the same? SEO, Social media, Email marketing, online advertising or anything else? We have already tried out AdWords but that did not create the desired response and that is why planning to conduct a PPL campaign. Like any startup what we are looking for is basically a channel to get our target audience on-board at the earliest. Would love to know your perspective on the same. ;

    See as per current scenario, online business needs to use all media channels as each have its own importance and with the help of these all marketing channels, any business gets its desired goals easily rather than use one of them. Another thing which is most important is Budget. If your budget is good, then you can start with PPC, SMO (Paid Campaigns) and email marketing as well, as all three networks gives you only potential customers and work parallel to promote your brand via SEO/SMO as well.

    Thank you for the advice. I do understand that as an online marketplace we cannot afford to neglect any marketing channel to reach out to our target audience. However PPC did not spark off the results that we expected out of our investment in the same. We have started using the Social Media to create the relevant buzz, however being in the growth stage right now we want to get our customers on-board as quickly as possible. ;
