Dumb SEO Questions

Toxic Domains.

Hi guys!  I just bought a new domain, put a couple pages up and decided to do a site: search in Google...just to see.

One page shows up(the main page) with a description that looks like this:
Find Cash Advance, Debt Consolidation,  Insurance and Free Credit Report

I checked the wayback machine and all it shows is a godaddy page. I checked majestic(free) but it didn`t show anything either.  Just a couple links from domain selling type sites.

Do you think this is bad?  should I dig harder to figure out why I have such a spammy description?

Thanks?

  • Jim Munro: It sounds like it might be a problem, Chris. It's been a while since we discussed toxic domains. I'll look forward to hearing what the guys have to suggest.
  • Chris M Cloutier: Thanks Jim
  • Daniel Neubauer: This comes up when the domain was parked before. Lot of registrars put ads on parked domains. After a couple of days (sometimes weeks) it should show your title and description.

At this point I'm thinking the URL is probably okay.  ;Thanks for new tool though.  ;I've never heard of it before.
