Mistakenly added NOINDEX code.

  a Vipin Sharma: It was cool, that I really didn't need to wait for moderation... Yes here I have an important questions... I have a client, it was ranking on position 5, some guy by mistakenly added NOINDEX code on the page, google deindexed and finally ranking lost, it took some 3-4 days to get indexed again.... I tried FETCHING in GOOGLE WMT, bookmarked to some good sites. Unfortunately I am not able to get my rankings back, this had happened to me some months back, same situation, but soon the URL got indexed, I got my rankings back..

  a Vipin Sharma: Mike, the page was out for 3-4 days, max... when I searched the same domain in Google, Google SERP didnt showed this site, but now, the site is visible when I put the domain in Google.... Any Help?

  Tim Capper: It is appearing for site: search, but when i searched chapti making machine sunrise, it does not appear.
  
  Looking at the indexed date on the home page it says 10th, so it may need some time to start appearing again.
  
  however when i search from page text, it does appear.
  
  So because of the deindex, it may have been subject to fresh scrutiny.
  
  A couple of things : the title tag is spammy
  
  I would get some additional text on your landing pages, describing what is on page and what a user will find and how to navigate.
  
  You have vids on most landing pages, consider marking these up with schema

  The main content is an image. Search engines cannot crawl the content inside an image. Furthermore explain the message. I am sure there are huge savings but walk me through the example.

  I understand that specifications are important but the product description is more important. You say it is easy to use but I don't read anything about why it is easy to use. In other words, explain your value proposition and try to sell it to me.

  Bullet points are great for blogging but you don't tell me anything. You can also use these articles to link within your site (to a more detailed article that only looks at one value proposition).

  Edwin Jonk: - Like you already said. Normally you bounce back to the ranking you had before. Therefore I think you need to look at other issues. ;
  
  - With the courtesy of +SEMrush ;I did a site audit. I will share the full report in a private post. ;
  
  - I also found another issue, namely you use capitals within the URL's and if I remove that I get a 404. Consider /Product-range.php versus /product-range.php . ;

I mean if I have a caps filename... it gets indexed... parallely offpage is done with the same URL.. so Google accepting everything with the caps alphabet URL and shows ranking for the same page.... its just a case of USERs POINT OF VIEW.. ?

  a Vipin Sharma: Oh no, Ediwn, I have checked it, WMT is even saying things are fine in case of broken links... so from the URL point of view the website is fine, but yes, this is a mistake of designer, he should have used lower case with hyphen... Thanks for such a great effort by you, Edwin...

  Jim Munro: I think it would be worth introducing a 301 rewrite rule for these conditions but I don't know how I would write it. :)
