  Brad Sacks: My team has been doing SEO work on a website for 9 months, we were steadily moving up the ranks for our keywords and last month, the owner decided to do a site redesign. Although our ranks did not fall (yet), our bounce rate has shot up from 20% to 60% even though the site is much more visibly appealing. What are your thoughts on the cause of this drastic change? ;

  SEMXE: Quite possible that for visitors it's difficult to find their required information.
  Website might be visually appealing, but is it still the same as far as content and its placement is concerned?

  Brad Sacks: Yes, I agree that just because it's visually appealing doesn't mean the customers will like it but in this case, they should. The information is clear, the photos are crisp and there a few CTA above the fold, nothing crazy.

  SEMXE: +Brad Sacks ; then do 1 thing, run a exit poll on your website.. try and ask your website visitors what they are missing .. or why are hey leaving from the same page.. or something like have they found for what they came her? hope this would help.
