Dumb SEO Questions

nofollow reciprocal links?

Hello,
I`ve been searching for an answer, but couldn`t find anything useful, so I hope someone here can help me.
I`ve agreed with a similar content website to put my banner on their page. They`ve placed it in footer, so it shows everywhere. Now my webmaster tools say I`ve got 1486 links from that site, so I would like to know if this is still considered as good for SEO or can be marked as spam by Google? Should I ask to make them nofollow?
Thanks in advance for all useful tips.?

  • Nagesh shukla: +Jure Krapenc ;you should always have a site-wide link nofollow
  • Masatake Wasa: I would make them nofollow, because such links do seem to be non-editorial and more like advertisements. What was your "agreement" with the other site? I'd think of these arrangements in terms of traffic generation, rather than SEO.
