Does anyone implement Call Tracking to any of their marketing channels?

I have a question about #CallTracking. Does anyone implement Call Tracking to any of their marketing channels? If so, what do you like to do with the data? Do you integrate the data with Google Analytics with goals?

I am pretty new to call tracking and I am not sure what to track and how to track phone leads

Thanks!?

I am pretty new to call tracking and I am not sure what to track and how to track phone leads

    Thanks!
  • eWebify: Yes, I use call tracking and use the information to prove that the marketing is working, improve phone skills, and improve conversions.  ;It helps to know where the calls are coming from, why, how, etc.

I took a look at your about page.  ;Is Grasshopper your company?

    Sincerely,

    Garret
  • Gregory Kristan: +eWebify ;I do work for Grasshopper, but our main focus is providing entrepreneurs with phone numbers for themselves and their team.

I was more curious about call tracking and the relationship with tracking those numbers using Google Analytics and integrating that with a tool like Salesforce.

Do you have any experience with that? If so, have you seen any data that suggests phone calls lead to a higher conversion value than a standard form fill?

  • eWebify: My experience has led me to not even include forms on most of my clients websites because forms lead to a low conversion.  ;I don't have any stats to show you because I have long sense stopped using most forms for clients and they just get calls.
  • Gregory Kristan: +eWebify ;that makes sense. Based on a rough guess, would you say that the conversion rate for a form fill was much higher, but it lead to a lower conversion vs a phone number with a lower conversion rate, but lead to a higher conversion?
  • eWebify: +Gregory Kristan ;, the quantity of leads would be hard to say because it depends on the type of business and customers that are being attracted to it.  ; For some businesses yes and some no.
