I recently moved my business, should I change my address in Yahoo or Bing?

Hello SEO experts.  I have a multi part  question for you.  I recently moved my business and was trying to change my address on some sites and Yext popped up and ran a scan.  I have 97 directories that still have my old address.  I was trying to change it in Yahoo and Bing and  cannot.  Is it worth paying Yext $450 a year to take care of  this?  Is there another service that can do it cheaper?  There are a numerous amount of directories I have never heard of if I don`t change it there will it hurt my SEO?  Thanks in advance for your advice.?

  • E.Dieter Martin: It might not hurt your SEO directly, but it will certainly hurt the number of people finding you, your website or your business. So yes, you should go through the exercise.

Aside from Yext, there's moz.com/local, brightlocal.com 's citationburst. I believe whitespark.ca operates a similar service. Both GoDaddy and Yahoo local offer this as well.

I can't make a statement which one is best.
  • Barbara Gilbert Interiors: +E.Dieter Martin ;Thank you so much for your response, I really appreciate it.
  • Steven Ciccantelli: +Barbara Gilbert Interiors I am still trying to figure this out but moz local is just 49.00 a year.
  • Steven Ciccantelli: Have to download say a Google listing in csv file etc and I am struggling with that.It does allow you to manually fix some of the major search engines etc..
  • Steven Ciccantelli: +Barbara Gilbert Interiors I also have the 450.00 version of yext and I still have a ton of errors.I like yext but if I can figure +Moz out seems like it will do all the work for peanuts.Any +Moz experts out there?
