  David Gemma: This is my web url - webdesignkent (dot) co and My targeted kw is web design kent and web design sittingbourne, I did on page and off page SEO for this site but when I have searched in google (dot) co (dot) uk there I have seen my url is not present in top 300 position. Another matter is when I have been searching for web design Sittingbourne on google (dot) co (dot) uk there I have found my other site url dancinggemssittingbourne (dot) co (dot) uk in 58 position but my question is why Its appeared into google (dot) co (dot) uk when I have searched for web design sittingbourne. Please someone suggest me what's going on to my sites or What would be my next footstep?

  Dave Elliott: Really strange. I can't see anything wrong with that site. It Seems to well optimised.
  Unless Google webmaster tools is telling you you have a lot of crawl errors and have been hit with a penalty then I am stumped.
  
  Your home page title tag comes accross as a little spammy but i really cant see google punishing you for it.
  
  Did you recently purchase the domain? i'm wondering if it had previously been penalised or something

  Adam Heaton: I'm surprised you only picked up on the title tag +Dave Elliott, there are a number of amendments he could look into making such as:
  
  The title tag is definitely too over optimised, mentioning web design 3 times with 3 different area names is unnecessary, why not just have "Web design area1, area2 & area3"?
  
  Amending the H1 headings (as there are a few) so there is 1 unique one to the page.
  
  There doesn't look to be any content on the homepage that is unique to the home, it is all just excerpts taken from different blog posts.
  
  The sitemap.xml is done through yoast which I've always felt is terrible and could do with amending so all of the pages are in one sitemap instead.
  
  Plus many other areas.
  
  Also, if this company are offering SEO, surely they should know to look for the above? I appreciate there are times where even SEO companies can be stumped, but these things just seem obvious?
  
  Not to mention that the links to the website aren't exactly of high quality...

  Adam, I did seo for this site but Never arise this kind of ; problem ; to me. Also I know it's over optimized but not spammy. ; I know that how to do title optimize for a site but Thank you so much for your thinking. Also I will change it. If you have any idea please mention it to me. Thanks!!

  Adam Heaton: +David Gemma, make the amendments I suggested to you and see how things proceed from there. I would recommend running the site through a tool such as screamingfrog which will report errors within your website to fix up. Once you've fixed everything up, submit your website for a recrawl in webmasters and see how things are.
