  • Citation Gurus: Does anyone know if there is a tool to see who shared or +1'd your content the most? I have so many shares and +1's that I want to start giving them something back by embedding posts of the most active people on my profile on my website.
  • Jim Munro: I think Circloscope will do this but I cannot think of a useful reason for the effort.
  • Citation Gurus: I was just thinking to be even more social and have people share even more. I have already received a ton of shares and over 400 +1's in 5 days and thought maybe it would boost that even more.

    Also to get people to return more often and engage them with the website.
  • Jim Munro: Scott Beuhler does stuff like this. I think he's building a house of straw.

    Consider that Google knew all of the tricks before G+ was started and it was almost a year in development. What was initially provided was more or less Google Wave so they didn't spend all that time on features. Maybe they might have spent that time building a platform that resists being gamed. ;

  • Citation Gurus: Thanks!
  • Ming Johanson: I think that's a great idea, valuing your followers on social media is always important - on Facebook it seems much easier to be able to keep an eye on these things, reasonably new to the Google+ space so was wondering the same things. Great question +Citation Gurus ;
  • Jim Munro: There's an interesting discussion just started between people who know what they are talking about in this thread, +Citation Gurus ;.
