How to maximize the social media signal for my new pages?

I`m going to move a website to a different domain. I do have pages with 100+ FB likes and many tweets and G+. It seems that it is not possible to move these likes, regardless the 301 a plan to use.

So basically, every page will have zero likes and shares again. Regarding SEO, is there something I can do to maximize the social media signal for my new pages? Or is the effect of social signals still that low that is does not matter much?

It`s also possible to argue that the effect of social signals is just an illusion and a worthless buzzword.
Just think about this: if you were a Google engineer... how much would you trust a signal that doesn`t switch choerently to the new URL?
