Will translated content be penalized for being duplicate content?
We have been given permission to use translated articles from another website. They are published in Arabic, we wish to professionally translate the articles to English.
Will this content be penalized for being duplicate content? We are not able to add hreflang code to the other website.
Should we link back to the original articles or will that just draw attention to the fact it may be duplicate content? I am unsure what the best practice is here to please Google.
Thank you.
