  • Jason Duke: When you sign up to Pingler (or similar services) the only people who benefit are the owners of that site.
  • Peter Nikolow: It helps but there are complications. 1) Bot comes and fetch URL. 2) Index isn`t guaranteed. 3) If you "ping" from single IP many times search engines can stop indexing requests from that IP for while. I made in past some tool called SEOPingler: http://www.mobiliodevelopment.com/seopingler/ and observe all 1-3 issues during development.
  • Loren Baker: Just fetch new URLs in GWT and request indexing if they are not being indexed fast enough.
  • Jeff Ferguson: Maybe, for a second, but it looks like the crap that stops working because it`s not as legit as they thought.
