  • Rishi Lakhani: Follow no index
  • Steve Wiideman: I found quite a few instances of the content already indexed: http://bit.ly/2nENBWE IMO, if this was your page, I would: 1. Rewrite it completely at this point 2. Hire an offshore resource to politely but repeatedly reach out to the plagiarisor to link to source page or remove the content 3. Set a canonical tag to your choice URL that you`d like to appear in Google 4. Set your URL Parameter preference in Google Search Console if these URLs with "?" are problematic as a whole 5. Remove said problematic URLs from XML sitemaps, HTML sitemaps, and internal links 6. If these URLs are indeed duplicate, noindex, follow (as Rishi Lakhani pointed out) 7. Run a DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, Botify, OnPage, or OnCrawl report to confirm the URLs can`t be found 8. Resubmit XML sitemap 9. Reach out to linking pages on 3rd party sites and ask them to refresh the link using the canonical URL 10. Revisit the canonical URL and compare it against the top 20 ranking pages in Google to make sure your page is truly the best and most helpful result visually, contextually, and technically. BONUS: create a Google Alert with a six word phrase in quotes so you`ll know right away the next time someone steals your content.
