I can`t get the homepage to index

OK so I have just launched a new site last night for a friend and had it indexed by google etc. In the webmaster tools everything "seems fine" but for some reason I can`t get the homepage to index. When doing site:https://www.passthesaltphotography.co.nz it gets 8 omitted results including the homepage. It was discouraged from indexing in Wordpress when setting it up, however, I have unchecked that and submitted a new sitemap. I was using Yoast`s sitemap but got confused with errors in search console and switched to the Google xml sitemap plugin. Any Ideas why it is not yet being indexed? Or am I just being impatient and need to wait it out a bit longer for Google to sort itself out. Thanks!
