I am trying to create a micro niche website

Hi everyone, I am new to SEO and I would love to get your feedback and advice on something.I am trying to create a micro niche website, I cannot write content or blog posts because what I am providing for the visitors is just a script to generate something pretty fast, I can write a post explaining how to use the script but that would be it since that`s the whole point of the website. What I`ve done till now: - I have bought a .com domain that matches the long tail keyword I am trying to rank for.
- The keyword researched has over 30k search per month.
- Thankfully there is no competitors, no one is ranking a website name that matches the keyword.
- I have bought a hosting plan and installed SSL and cloudflare. What I am stuck with: - I don`t which wordpress theme I should use to make a script website that would have little to no content.
- I don`t know how I am going to make the website or get the them that will be seo optimized to rank for that particular long tail keyword.
- I don`t how how I can give the website a little push and track its ranking using seo tools besides google search console. If you can provide help or guidance I would really appreciate it, if you`re trying to sell me a seo package I am not interested. Thanks in advance.

  • Christine Hansen: If your website is going to be that simple, why don´t you just write your html5/css your self - this way the website would be really fast. As for SEO, read some beginners guides then come back for specific questions/problems. That or pay someone to help you set it all up. :-)
  • Philip Rinaldi: Sorry to break it to you, but domain names are no longer a ranking factor. Therefore, just because you purchased domain with the long tail keyword, it will not automatically rank well. You need to make sure you have good on-page optimization (make sure you have h1s, page titles, etc. with your keyword). I`d highly recommend adding some content as well. Backlinks are the #1 ranking factor in 2020 - so be sure to do your research on building a good backlink profile.
  • Stuart Dixon: A site with little or no content will only rank for a while if at all. Google ranks site that it seems best fit for the search term. If it can`t find enough context on your site it will ignore it or drop it after a while
  • Michael Martinez: Working on the assumption that you`re creating a site for which there is a real need, WordPress is overkill based on your description.

That said, if you want to show people how to use the script then use the WordPress to publish illustrative case studies in the form of "here is how I used the script to X".

Theme shouldn`t matter, really. I would choose a light theme without too many extras.

What will be most important for your success (in my opinion) is earning recognition from discussions on other blogs and forums. When I say "earning" I really do mean "earning". Link drops (spam) can sometimes push a site to the top but it`s not a sustainable technique and the more sites you abuse the more people who will choose NOT to help you in the future.
