Conversion Rate vs Bounce Rate

Hey Guys, a website we own on Shopify had a theme change and we compared data from before and after the theme change in GA. The conversion rate went up 30% but the site wide bounce rate went up 40%. Any potential reasons for this?

David Rosam: Conversion rate site-wide? Certain products increased their conversion rate?
David Rosam: If both are site-wide, I`d say that the two changes aren`t contradictory. And with a 30% conversion rate increase, I`d leave well alone for the moment.
E Dieter Martin: You attracted a lot more visitors. Many of them bought things and others didn`t like what they saw and turned around. Sounds perfect to me. If I get more visitors in my store all of a sudden, there`s a good chance that some of them really aren`t that interested in what I have to offer.
Neil Cheesman: Anything to do with Seasonal? ie Christmas?
Chris Greene: Doesn`t look like it, compared it year on year to take out the seasonal factor.
