  • Larry Spencer: I read that over 80% of users skip the ads. I know that I do
  • David Gizzarelli: Larry Spencer yet I got 429 clicks but not one call message or email.

  • David Gizzarelli: Larry Spencer and ... when I set my budget, Google takes double my budget. So, they tell me after they take my money, to set my budget to half of what I want it to be 🤪
  • Michael Martinez: Yes, people click on the ads. Bots also click on the ads, making it impossible to properly assess the value of such ads.

Ad design and placement are critical to success in generating clicks. But beyond the click a good landing page and offering the value consumers want are critical for on-site or secondary conversions (the click is the first conversion).

Even so, most advertisers expect relatively low conversion rates. Ads are useful for creating brand awareness and should not be viewed only as a means of generating traffic. Depending on the network you use a branding campaign may be relatively inexpensive.
