Dealing with sub-optimal backlinks.

  I have no idea, if this is something that happens with more domains, but over the last few weeks I have been getting lists of back-links for really crappy websites.
  To give you an idea of the extend: In the last 7 days, at least 188 links were posted on different blogs, forums, guestbooks etc. (see part of the list of the last 7 days in the image)
  All of the post show the same kind of complete computer generated nonsense. (at least those that I could translate) ;
  
  Although most of the links are no-follow, I'm still a bit worried that one day I would be punished for something I actually got nothing to do with.
  Most of the links lead to a blank page or generate page not found.
  
  And my second question is , and this is more out of curiosity: What is this? Why is anyone keeping him/herself busy with these nonsense,  ;and what's in it for them? ;

  PromozSEO: I am seeing all those links are nofollow as per SEOProfiler. I would not worry much as long as those links are nofollow.
  Though you can disavow the domains if you are not sure whether there are pages with dofollow backlinks.

  I guess well have to pop up the disavow tool then ☺
  Still can not figure out what the motivation behind this system might be. Anyone an idea?
