Dumb SEO Questions

Will that actually achieve anything?

So I’ve been using the AI writing tool Jasper.ai recently to churn out some blog posts. It’s good. Whilst it can’t write the kind of long, authority-building content that I like for my site, it can certainly write light informative 500-1000 word blogs.I figured these light blogs could serve as complements to my main publishing calendar. Publish my authority-building content earlier in the week and my lighter content later in the week. But then I asked myself “will that actually achieve anything?”Whilst these lighter posts are useful and are keyword optimised, they certainly don’t provide as much value as the posts I wrote myself. And they will probably not outrank what they’re competing against; that’s the job of the longform content that i wrote. What are people’s thoughts? Publish these additional AI posts since it could maybe help a little/they take little time to write so I might as well? Or is it a complete waste of time?
